Care Instructions

Raw hair fails for two reasons, and both are avoidable: sulphates strip the cuticle, and protein overload makes the strand brittle. Everything below follows from that.

Washing. Detangle from the ends upward with your fingers or a wide-tooth comb before any water touches it. Use a sulphate-free cleanser, work it through the wefts in a downward motion only, and never pile the hair on top of your head. Rinse until the water runs clear.

Conditioning. Use a protein-free moisturising conditioner every wash and a deep treatment every third wash. Leave it on for fifteen minutes with the hair hanging straight, then rinse cool. Squeeze the water out — do not wring or twist.

Drying and heat. Air-dry hanging where possible. If you use a blow dryer, keep it on medium with a nozzle pointed down the strand. Flat irons and wands should stay at or below 180°C, always over a heat protectant. Straight and wave textures return to their own pattern on the next wash.

Night and storage. Sleep in a satin bonnet or on a satin pillowcase. Between installs, wash the set, dry it fully, brush it out and store it flat or on a wig stand inside a breathable bag. Never store hair damp.

Colouring. Raw hair takes colour, but bleaching past level 7 shortens its life. Have it done by someone who works with raw hair regularly, and deep condition immediately after.
